23/09/07 - Robert in The Getaway
Adding to Roberts work in Sandwich, Dear Green Place and The Bench is "The Getaway". Robert teams up with actor, Joe Cassidy who appeared alongside Robert in Sandwich. In the short film directed by Kolin Ferguson the duo play a couple of bank robbers whose getaway driver chickens out and leaves them inside the bank. However moments after an identical car driven by a heavily pregnant woman pulls up in the same spot. When the robbers leave the bank they get into her car believing it is their car and end up having to use it as a getaway car.

31/08/07 - Sandwich sneak scene online
A small scene from the Foghorn Films produced short film, Sandwich, has been posted online at YouTube. The 30 second clip shows the end of a section of the film where Tommy and Jimmy are driving about Glasgow frustratingly hunting for two people. They take a moment to calm down and gather themselves before moving on.

22/08/07 - Robert films The Bench
Click to enlargeLast week Robert travelled to Lochwinnoch to shoot a cameo part in the independent feature film, The Bench. Directed by Sean Wilkie of Quarantine Films The Bench is the story of a group of teenagers who travel to an old log cabin, but soon learn that there is a little more to this cabin than meets the eye.

Robert plays the part of a deaf Mechanic called Mike. His character runs a garage and the teenagers encounter his character on the way up to the cabin. He spent one evening shooting a segment of the film and is due to return to shooting the film when it picks up in the next couple of months.

The Bench will be aiming for a 2008 release date.

15/07/07 - Dear Green Place
Robert was cast in the up and coming BBC TV series from the creators of Still Game. The TV show, Dear Green Place, is the story about Glasgow parkies. Robert plays Marco, the owner of a Cafe where the main characters of the show eat out of and was brought in for one episode. The shows pilot was aired on Television last year and won a Scottish Bafta in the category of Best Entertainment.

26/06/07 - Updates to Photo Galleries!
Robert recently got the chance to have a photoshoot at a plush mansion with some nice bentley cars. Photographed on a glorius sunny day these photos show Robert in various poses.

The MySpace page and trailer for Robert Harrison's short film project, Sandwich, has launched their MySpace and features a brand new trailer for this short film. The trailer itself is a homage to another important movie in the history of cinema. Click on the links below to see more:

11/04/07 - Sandwich Photographs
A selection of photographs from behind the scenes of Sandwich have been added to the gallery section. Sandwich was shot in November of 2006 and features Robert as Tommy Granger, a former criminal who caughts caught up in more than he would like.

30/01/07 - A Mean Sandwich
The final project of 2006 for Robert Harrison was "Sandwich". Robert teamed up with website designer and filmmaker, Colin Ross Smith, to make a short film about a notorious gangster, Tommy Granger. The story is about a man who seeks revenge on two thugs who viciously attack two of his crew members for no apparant reason. The film is expected to finish early in 2007.

23/08/06 - Trout at the Edinburgh Film Festival
Earlier in the year Robert teamed up with director, Johnny Barington, for tartan Short, Trout. Robert Previously worked with Johnny on the GMAC and Digicult Produced short film, Trawler. As part of the Tartan short series, the film was shown at the Edinburgh Film Festival. The film will be screened on BBC sometime in the next few months.

04/07/06 - River City and More
It's been a busy time for Robert in 2006. Earlier in the year Robert was involved with inmates at HMP Greenock. In his time there he worked on developing the inmates acting skills. His time there was finished off with a special production based on the TV series Porridge. Robert played the lead role Fletcher who was famously portrayed by Ronnie Barker in the BBC Sitcom. The actor then went on to attend an acting for camera course put on by the Strathclyde Theatre Group in the Glasgow based Ramshorn Theatre. Here Robert was able to further develop his acting skills in front of the camera.

He was kept busy working on smaller productions such as Close to Me, Screwbelly and Trout before landing a part in River City. Robert spent his time in June down at the set in Dumbarton playing Gus the main henchman in the Scottish based soap opera. He is expected to be seen on television sometime in the next month. River City can be seen on Tuesday and Friday Nights on BBC Scotland.

22/09/05 - Robert on Taggart
Robert has recently finished working on the Scottish TV show, Taggart, where he played the part of an Underworld Enforcer. The episode is expected to be seen on STV some time next year.
